Happy Easter, Brothers and Sisters!
Alleluia, Christ is risen! After a period of fasting and prayer, we have entered the days of celebration! Today, we see Jesus in a new light! Much like Mary Mag’dalene in the Gospel of John, we may struggle to recognize Him, especially in these hard times. Yet, let us remember this... it is not that Jesus has left. Rather, it is we who do not recognize him. Jesus has not abandoned us, as we are reminded on this wonderful day of Easter! Rather than asking Him, “Lord, where have you gone?”, let us ask Him, “Lord, open my eyes to see you in all things and at all times!” Let us come to know Him in such a way that we hear Him calling our name at all times, responding with great faith!
“When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus there, but did not know it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you looking for?” She thought it was the gardener and said to him, “Sir, if you carried him away, tell me where you laid him, and I will take him.” Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to him in Hebrew, “Rabbouni,” which means “Teacher.” John 20:14-16 (NABRE)
With Peace and Love, your brother in Christ,
